RFID enabled cards allow your card to be read without swiping the magnetic strip on that back - this technology, while convenient, also means that your card can be read without your knowledge from as far as thirty feet away. The Shield Insert is the size of a dollar bill and will fit in any size wallet. You receive one insert for $4.95.

The Credit Card Sleeve envelopes a credit card. You receive one sleeve for $3.50.

The WalletGuard Shield Insert Package offers one insert and two credit card sleeves for $9.95.

The RFID sleeves and inserts are  specifically and only designed to operate at a frequency of 13.56 megahertz. 

This means that they will completely shield Radio Frequency for smart credit cards and passports. 

* These sleeves are not designed to provide shielding for keyless entry cards or items other than credit cards

and passports.

 

The material which we use contains a metal inner lining which provides the shielding effect.

If you were to carefully ignite a  portion of the sleeve, the exterior layers of paper would burn off, leaving only the metal barrier material.
